When the sustainability questions land on your desk.
A customer sends a supplier questionnaire. Your bank asks for sustainability information. The answers are spread across company accounts, invoices and payroll records.
VSME gives you a common structure for bringing this information together. It is a voluntary sustainability reporting standard for small and medium-sized businesses. Prepare one report you can refer to as requests arrive.

How long will it take?
That depends on your business and how much information you have ready. Gathering records and calculating emissions may take longer than entering the answers. You can leave unfinished sections and return when you have the figures.
